This is the largest single ASEIP award in the airport\u2019s history, Senior Public Information Officer Ana Flores said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The grant funds will help update and modernize drainage around the airport and expand stormwater capacity, which will ensure SAT meets updated FAA and rainfall design standards, Flores said.<\/p>\n<p>Why it matters<\/p>\n<p>Though it operates behind the scenes, this project is a vital investment in SAT&#8217;s infrastructure, ensuring safe, resilient and efficient operations for years to come, Flores said.
