Bordeaux & Cr\u00e8me,<\/a> a wine and dessert lounge, is expected to open this fall at The Shops at Legacy North<\/a>, offering curated wine pairings, house-made desserts and an intimate space for after-dinner gatherings.<\/p>\n The 1,426-square-foot lounge will seat approximately 40 guests and feature a menu of six desserts, each designed with wine pairings in mind. The wine selection will include approximately 30 options available by the glass or bottle, ranging from sparkling and ros\u00e9 to white and red wines. Curated wine flights will also be available.<\/p>\n Among the signature desserts is the Br\u00fbl\u00e9e Cheesecake, made with vanilla bean cr\u00e8me fra\u00eeche cheesecake, a brown butter sabl\u00e9 crust and a br\u00fbl\u00e9ed sugar topping. It will be paired with a sweet wine to complement the dessert\u2019s caramelized flavors.<\/p>\n Another offering, Pistachio Romance, combines a Sicilian pistachio macaron with raspberry confit, pistachio ganache, fresh raspberries and rose sugar, paired with sparkling ros\u00e9.<\/p>\n \u201cWine and dessert are often treated separately, but they\u2019re capable of creating something truly memorable when they\u2019re thoughtfully paired,\u201d Owner Shanice Williams said.<\/p>\n Williams said the concept grew out of a desire for a dedicated space to enjoy wine and dessert after dinner, rather than treating sweets as an afterthought.<\/p>\n \u201cSome of life\u2019s best conversations happen after dinner and there should be a space worthy of them,\u201d Williams said. \u201cA glass of wine, something sweet, and music that sets the mood is an evening experience I always wanted but could never quite find.\u201d<\/p>\n
