{"id":471681,"date":"2026-10-20T15:16:07","date_gmt":"2026-10-20T15:16:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/471681\/"},"modified":"2026-10-20T15:16:07","modified_gmt":"2026-10-20T15:16:07","slug":"lubbock-bandidos-chapter-president-sentenced-to-11-years-in-federal-meth-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/471681\/","title":{"rendered":"Lubbock Bandidos chapter president sentenced to 11+ years in federal meth case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) &#8211; The president of the Lubbock Bandidos motorcycle club will spend more than 11 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to his role in a methamphetamine distribution case. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">74-year-old Steven Glenn Ryals, also known as \u201cHot Tub,\u201d was sentenced Oct. 16 to 135 months, according to a federal judgement filed in the North District of Texas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Ryals pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">On Feb. 27, 2026, agents executed a search warrant at the Bandidos Notorious clubhouse, where Ryals was living.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Ryals was federally charged on March 2, 2026, and made his initial appearance before a U.S. Magistrate Judge in Lubbock. He has remained in federal custody since.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Ryals\u2019 135-month sentence will run concurrently.
