{"id":471817,"date":"2026-10-20T18:08:10","date_gmt":"2026-10-20T18:08:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/471817\/"},"modified":"2026-10-20T18:08:10","modified_gmt":"2026-10-20T18:08:10","slug":"yearbys-barbecue-and-waterice-to-open-in-allen-allen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/471817\/","title":{"rendered":"Yearby\u2019s Barbecue and Waterice to open in Allen | Allen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yearbysbbq.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Yearby\u2019s Barbecue and Waterice <\/a>is coming soon to Allen, owner Sabrina Henley said. <\/p>\n<p>The restaurant serves brisket, lamb ribs and turkey breast with sides such as mac and cheese, collard greens, potato salad, coleslaw and more. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Every brisket, beef rib, and sausage maintains classic Central Texas flavor while meeting halal standards,&#8221; the business&#8217;s website states. <\/p>\n<p>Yearby\u2019s Barbecue and Waterice relocated from Pilot Point to Plano in <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/plano-north\/dining\/yearbys-barbecue-and-waterice-to-offer-halal-barbecue-in-plano\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">December 2025<\/a> and then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1D9jKcJ6un\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">closed its Plano location<\/a> in June after finding a long-term lease in Allen, according to the business&#8217;s social media. <\/p>\n<p>The restaurant is hosting a soft opening with a limited menu Oct. 24-25 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Henley said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Yearby\u2019s Barbecue and Waterice is coming soon to Allen, owner Sabrina Henley said.
