The bakery hosted a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Deaf_aAREuw\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">soft opening<\/a> Oct. 17.<\/p>\n<p>Owner Abdul Rahman said the caf\u00e9 is rooted in Palestinian and Lebanese heritage and will offer a mix of traditional and modern Mediterranean cuisine, including sweet and savory baked goods.<\/p>\n<p>The name \u201cAjeena\u201d means dough, Rahman said in an email, and the caf\u00e9\u2019s menu includes puff pastries and rolls, as well as lattes and matcha drinks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeyond its food, Ajeena emphasizes community and hospitality, aiming to create a welcoming space where guests can gather and connect,\u201d Rahman said.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Ajeena Mediterranean Caf\u00e9 &amp; Bakery is now open in Richardson.
