Amazon expands health care benefits for seasonal workers<\/p>\n
Starting Jan. 1, 2027, seasonal employees who work at least 30 hours per week will become eligible for health care coverage, a benefit already available to Amazon\u2019s regular full-time employees.<\/p>\n
Employees hired on or after Jan. 1 will have access to the coverage starting on their first day. Seasonal workers already in qualifying roles will become eligible on the same date.<\/p>\n
Amazon said health care plan options start at $5 per week, with $5 copays.<\/p>\n

Amazon said full-time operations employees start at a minimum of $20 per hour, with average hourly pay reaching nearly $24.<\/p>\n
