Across Kyle, San Marcos, and San Antonio, Hinojosa met directly with college students and voters, outlining her plan to secure the American Dream for Texans and emphasizing the stakes of this election and the importance of electing a governor who will put working Texans ahead of billionaires and wealthy special interests.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Check out more from the stops below:<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1023\" height=\"862\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/image-9.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2645\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.1864406779661016;width:350px;height:auto\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Early Monday morning, Hinojosa started the first week of early voting by casting her ballot.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"425\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1792532425_311_image-7.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2644\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.892116182572614;width:456px;height:auto\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After voting, Hinojosa held a press conference announcing <a href=\"https:\/\/ginafortexas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Hinojosa-First-Amended-Petition.pdf\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">legal action<\/a> against Greg Abbott for unlawfully withholding communications between his office and billionaire donor Elon Musk. The announcement marked the beginning of her \u201cOne Fight\u201d GOTV tour, highlighting her commitment to fight for Texans.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt is one fight: Is this going to be a Texas that is by and for the people, or is it just the billionaires\u2019 world, and we just live here? People want change in this state.
