{"id":472009,"date":"2026-10-20T22:08:07","date_gmt":"2026-10-20T22:08:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/472009\/"},"modified":"2026-10-20T22:08:07","modified_gmt":"2026-10-20T22:08:07","slug":"plano-commission-approves-multifamily-and-assisted-living-plans-plano","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/472009\/","title":{"rendered":"Plano commission approves multifamily and assisted living plans | Plano"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Plans are moving forward for a 31-unit multifamily residence in downtown Plano and a 16-bed assisted living facility in west Plano.<\/p>\n<p>Plano&#8217;s planning and zoning commission approved preliminary site plans for the two projects at a meeting Oct. 19.<\/p>\n<p>At a glance<\/p>\n<p>A 31-unit multifamily residence is planned to be constructed on 2.8 acres at the intersection of 14th Street and Rigsbee Drive, per city <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plano.gov\/planning-zoning-commission-agendas#docaccess-e99025ae40f39313f295a783f34c69b1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">documents<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The preliminary site plan shows six buildings planned for two-story townhomes and one building planned for four apartment units. The community will also have an amenity and leasing center with an exercise area, per city documents.<\/p>\n<p>Also of note<\/p>\n<p>A 16-bed assisted living facility is planned for a 0.7-acre site north of Parker Road on the west side of Town Bluff Place, per city documents.
