Hollywood is coming to Preston Hollow later this week with Edgemere Senior Living\u2019s 2nd Annual Film Festival.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In partnership with the Dallas International Film Festival, the senior living community will host free screenings in its Performing Arts Center, according to a press release.\u00a0<\/p>\n

From Thursday, Oct 22 through Saturday, Oct 24, the three-day festival will feature screenings of Miss Congeniality, 9 to 5 and Friday Night Lights. Following each screening, guests can hear from cast members and film experts during Q&A sessions.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Attendees can also enjoy red-carpet photo opportunities, music, refreshments, cocktails, giveaways and opportunities to meet featured guests.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Edgemere Film Fest celebrates aging as a vibrant, relevant and evolving experience \u2014 both on screen and in real life,\u201d Jeff Amann, COO and president of Certus Living, said in a press release.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Thursday\u2019s screening of Miss Congeniality will feature Farah White, who portrayed Miss Tennessee, and LeeAnne Locken, who portrayed Miss Nebraska, for a discussion about their experience making the 2000 comedy, the press release stated.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Friday\u2019s screening of 9 to 5 \u00a0will be followed by a discussion with Sean Griffin, an author and professor in Southern Methodist University\u2019s Meadows Division of Film and Media Arts.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The festival will conclude Saturday with Friday Night Lights, followed by a Q&A with Brad Leland, who portrayed John Aubrey in the 2004 film and later played Buddy Garrity in the television series.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The festival is open to audiences of all ages. Each day, guest check-in begins at 12:30 p.m., followed by the film screening and Q&A from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. A reception with cocktails and red-carpet photo opportunities will follow from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n
