{"id":472442,"date":"2026-10-21T07:36:33","date_gmt":"2026-10-21T07:36:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/472442\/"},"modified":"2026-10-21T07:36:33","modified_gmt":"2026-10-21T07:36:33","slug":"motorcyclist-killed-in-collision-with-trailer-on-i-35-identified-by-officials","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/472442\/","title":{"rendered":"Motorcyclist killed in collision with trailer on I-35 identified by officials"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN ANTONIO &#8211; A motorcyclist who tragically died after a collision with a tractor-trailer along I-35 has been identified.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner&#8217;s Office,  the motorcyclist has been identified as 47-year-old Gregory Dailey Jr., who died as a result of his injuries. His death has been ruled an accident.<\/p>\n<p>RELATED | <a href=\"https:\/\/news4sanantonio.com\/news\/local\/motorcyclist-killed-after-crashing-into-trailer-on-i-35-san-antonio-texas-investigation-traffic-police-evidence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Motorcyclist killed after crashing into trailer on I-35<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The crash happened just before 2 a.m. on Interstate 35 North between Toepperwein Road and Pat Booker Road.<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses reported seeing the motorcyclist traveling at a high rate of speed in the far left lane before attempting to move into the right lane. <\/p>\n<p>During the lane change, the motorcycle struck the back of a trailer, throwing the rider from his bike.<\/p>\n<p>Dailey was pronounced dead at the scene.
