It started as a food truck, then expanded into a restaurant in Deep Ellum. Now it\u2019s in a new-ish space at 3905 East Side Ave.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re hosting this happy hour because we like to mingle with like-minded newsies, foodies, artists and cultural tastemakers every now and then. This is technically a <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/dallas-observer.fundjournalism.org\/support\/?campaign=701V500000NTt0nIAD\">members\u2019 <\/a>event, but we\u2019ve started opening these up to everyone, including the member curious. Our <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/dallas-observer.fundjournalism.org\/support\/?campaign=701V500000NTt0nIAD\">membership program<\/a> helps sustain our newsroom in these dynamic and challenging times.<\/p>\n<p>5 reasons you should join us at Easy Slider<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Be sure to make it to the end for the best reason.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reason No. 5<br \/>Easy Sliders is one of Dallas\u2019 best bars. It\u2019s a <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasobserver.com\/food-drink\/best-bars-in-dallas-texas-22596153\/\">top 50 bar<\/a> and a personal top 5. The cozy space just outside Deep Ellum is well appointed with a postmodern aesthetic, with a touch of silliness. It\u2019s also locally owned and, we all know, it\u2019s imperative to support local. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reason No. 4<br \/>The food is actually phenomenal. If you\u2019ve not had their burger or the Sweet and Low Down slider, you\u2019re missing some of the best things between sliced bread in Dallas. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reason No. 3<br \/>The first drink is on us.
