FOX 26&#8217;s Mekenna Earnhart shares details from authorities at the scene.<\/p>\n<p data-v-2c6143fb=\"\">HUMBLE, Texas &#8211; A man was killed in a shooting involving Humble police officers in the parking lot of a shopping center on Wednesday, officials say.<\/p>\n<p data-v-2c6143fb=\"\">No officers were injured in the shooting.<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"KRIV\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-2c6143fb=\"\">What we know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-2c6143fb=\"\">The shooting occurred around 12:15 p.m. at FM 1960 and Townsen Blvd.<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/49146074179.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" fetchpriority=\"auto\" width=\"932\" height=\"524\" data-v-7f188271=\"\"\/>  <\/p>\n<p data-v-2c6143fb=\"\">According to Humble police, officers were notified by Montgomery County authorities about a potential theft suspect entering the city limits.<\/p>\n<p data-v-2c6143fb=\"\">Police say the officers located a vehicle matching the description in the parking lot and made contact with the suspect.<\/p>\n<p data-v-2c6143fb=\"\">At some point, shots were fired, and the man was struck by gunfire.
