Vote.org says Texans have checked their registration through its site more than 500,000 times this year, 72% more often than at this point in 2018 and more than twice as often as in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Brian Smith, a political science professor at St. Edward\u2019s University, said the outcome will come down to which side does a better job turning supporters and independents into voters.<\/p>\n<p>Early voting continues through Oct. 30.<\/p>\n<p>Vote in the poll below!
