You\u2019ve heard of Neopolitan, Roman, New York, Chicago and Detroit style pizza. But California style?<\/p>\n

California style pizza brand Burattino<\/a> announced the opening of its third Texas location in Arlington.<\/p>\n

Burattino originated in San Pedro, California, 10 years ago. According to its website, the West Coast style is a \u201cthin and chewy crust with edge-to-edge toppings.\u201d<\/p>\n

The brand went viral when fans posted the thin crust pizza\u2019s ASMR \u201ccrunch,\u201d which turned into billions of views<\/a> and millions of followers<\/a> across its social media platforms.<\/p>\n

Burattino serves pizzas baked in brick ovens. It is known for its pepperoni options, but also unique condiments and flavors like fermented black garlic or a tangy and spicy kimchi dipping sauce.<\/p>\n

The franchise has a restaurant in North Richland Hills<\/a> and another opening in November in Plano. The Arlington location will open at 6204 S. Cooper St. in an old Simple Simon\u2019s pizzeria.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s on the menu at Burattino?<\/p>\n

Burattino\u2019s most famous pizza is its 120 pepperoni pizza,<\/a> which has, well, 120 pepperoni slices that coat the pie entirely.<\/p>\n

Commonly seen on TikTok is Burattino\u2019s lava pie,<\/a> which features four cheeses stuffed into the crust as well as melted on top for the ultimate cheese pull.<\/p>\n

Another favorite is the pepperoni Mexicana, which features red and green chorizo, pepperoni, bacon, onion, garlic, jalape\u00f1os and a salsa sauce.<\/p>\n

But as mentioned earlier, the brand has unique flavors like a spicy Korean pizza topped with gochujang chicken, and one with white garlic sauce topped with clams and bacon.<\/p>\n

Besides pizza, Burattino serves calzones, wings, baked sandwiches and some salads.<\/p>\n

Customers can order online ahead of time through the Burattino website<\/a> or Door Dash<\/a> for delivery or pickup.<\/p>\n

When will Burattino open?<\/p>\n

Burattino in Arlington will open in February 2027, DFW franchisee George Gomiashvili told Culture Map Fort Worth<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Curious customers who want to try Burattino can visit the North Richland Hills location at 6305 Precinct Line Road. It is open Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.<\/p>\n
