San Antonio has been treated to some beautiful late-October weather<\/a> lately. Each day this week, morning temperatures have fallen into the 50s while afternoon temps have generally risen into the lower to mid-80s across South-Central Texas.. Humidity levels also have been quite low, making the day comfortable to spend outdoors.<\/p>\n

These warm afternoons are expected to continue Friday and Saturday. However, some changes are coming Sunday<\/a> and early next week, as a weak atmospheric disturbance will bring more clouds, higher humidity and a noticeable drop in temperatures. Here\u2019s how the next few days are likely to shake out.<\/p>\n

Another cool morning is anticipated throughout the region on Friday, with temperatures falling into the upper 50s throughout the San Antonio metro area. Temperatures at daybreak will be a few degrees cooler across the Hill Country, settling into the mid-50s from\u00a0Kerrville to Fredericksburg.<\/p>\n

Mostly sunny skies are likely through the morning hours, allowing temperatures to rise steadily. San Antonio will be in the upper 70s at noon,\u00a0topping out in the mid-80s by 3 p.m.<\/a> Winds will stay light, coming in from the southeast at 5 to 10 mph as humidity levels stay relatively low.<\/p>\n

High, thin clouds will likely move into the region during the late afternoon and evening, but the weather will stay comfortable. You can expect temperatures back in the 70s by 7 p.m.<\/a> before falling back into the 60s after 11 p.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Saturday: More atmospheric moisture will start to move into the region on Saturday, resulting in partly cloudy skies throughout the day. Morning lows will be slightly warmer, falling only into the low 60s. Afternoon highs in San Antonio will once again reach the mid-80s.<\/p>\n

Sunday:\u00a0More significant changes are expected Sunday, as a weak atmospheric disturbance over the western United States will push closer to Texas. While the system won\u2019t necessarily bring higher rain chances, it will bring mostly cloudy skies and higher humidity levels to the region.<\/p>\n

The expanded cloudiness will cause afternoon temperatures to likely reach only near 80 degrees by Sunday afternoon. Winds will increase a bit, too, with some gusts likely reaching up to 20 mph.<\/p>\n

A weak cold front is expected to push into parts of Texas early next week. However, the front will likely stall out across northern sections of the state before moving closer to the San Antonio area.<\/p>\n

Even so, the incoming system will still bring unsettled weather into South Texas. High cloudiness is expected, and rain chances will rise to around 30% by Tuesday. Temperatures will also drop slightly, with afternoon highs only expected in the upper 70s on Tuesday and Wednesday.<\/p>\n

By the end of the week and into next weekend, the remnants of Hurricane Vance<\/a> in the eastern Pacific could bring high moisture levels to the region, bolstering chances of showers and thunderstorms. This could mean rainfall across the region on Halloween, but plenty of uncertainty about that timeframe still exists.
