President Donald Trump is heading back to Texas, this time with the Gulf Coast in his sights.<\/p>\n
With the Nov. 3 midterm elections fast approaching, Trump is scheduled to hold a rally in Corpus Christi on Oct. 27, marking another campaign stop in a state where Republicans are fighting to maintain their political foothold.<\/p>\n
The Republican National Committee\u2019s event page<\/a> lists the rally for 2 p.m. Tuesday, with doors opening at 10:30 a.m. and the program beginning at 12:30 p.m. Organizers have yet to announce the venue or identify other speakers expected to attend, according to the event’s RSVP site<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Corpus Christi appearance comes as Trump makes a renewed push to rally support for Republicans ahead of the Nov. 3 midterm elections. Earlier this month, he visited San Antonio<\/a> for a rally at Freeman Coliseum, where he campaigned for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ken Paxton and congressional candidate Carlos De La Cruz.<\/p>\n The Oct. 7 rally drew attention beyond its campaign message. The\u00a0Bexar County Sheriff\u2019s Office said authorities escorted 18 people from the venue for \u201cdisruptive behavior,\u201d while questions about the crowd size sparked a separate debate.<\/p>\n
