{"id":474572,"date":"2026-10-23T16:00:10","date_gmt":"2026-10-23T16:00:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/474572\/"},"modified":"2026-10-23T16:00:10","modified_gmt":"2026-10-23T16:00:10","slug":"san-antonio-man-facing-four-different-charges-including-murder-has-all-cases-dismissed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/474572\/","title":{"rendered":"San Antonio man facing four different charges including murder has all cases dismissed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">SAN ANTONIO \u2013 A San Antonio man charged in the murder of a 61-year-old man back in 2023 had his charges dismissed on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Tristan Lerma was 18 when he was charged with murder in the shooting death of Michael Molina.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">According to the arrest warrant affidavit, Lerma and an unnamed juvenile suspect were accused of shooting at a home on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ksat.com\/news\/local\/2023\/08\/31\/man-hospitalized-in-critical-condition-after-southeast-side-shooting-sapd-says\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Aug. 30, 2023, in the 3300 block of Bob Billa Street<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Molina\u2019s grandson told investigators that he was the intended target.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">The grandson told police that he saw two people get out of a vehicle and fire shots. Molina heard the gunfire, went outside and was shot multiple times.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Lerma was also facing other charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and deadly conduct for two other incidents unrelated to the murder. <\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">According to court records, on Monday, the state asked for a continuance or reset in the case, and the judge denied the motion.
