KEY QUOTES

Head Coach Tom Black

On the match…

“It was a hard-fought match. Obviously, two really good teams going at it. Had our chances, a couple plays away.”

On what the team can take away from this game…

“You learn a lot from battles like this. I thought we were a couple plays away in trans. We free-balled a few balls over that we just, we have to attack. They did a little bit better job of that. So, it was a game of inches; two plays matter.”

Tori Harper | Gr. | MB

On the Texas A&M matchup compared to other ranked opponents…

“No matter what SEC team you play, it’s going to be a big game, no matter who is on the other side of the net. I think it just comes down to what we do as a team and how we show up mentally and physically when it comes to the other opponent. But again, it doesn’t matter who we play just as long as we do our job; that’s all that matters.”
