LUBBOCK, Texas (KVII) \u2014 President Donald Trump is scheduled to headline a midterm campaign rally at the Lubbock <\/a>Memorial Civic Center on Tuesday, a high-profile push for Texas Republicans as early voting <\/a>enters its final stretch. <\/p>\n

Democratic U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico will make a stop on his “Clear Eyes Full Hearts”<\/a> tour the same evening at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion on the Texas Tech campus. Doors for Talarico’s event at Tech open at 6:00 p.m. and his program is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. This is an open community event; tickets are not required to attend. <\/p>\n

Doors for the Trump rally at the civic center open at 2:30 p.m., with auxiliary programming starting at 4:30 p.m. ahead of the president’s scheduled remarks at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free, though tickets and registration<\/a> are required, with a limit of four tickets per signup. <\/p>\n

Attendees of the Trump rally will undergo a security screening upon arrival and organizers encourage early arrival to mitigate line delays. Only small, clear bags are permitted; all bags are subject to search and entry with any bag is at the final discretion of security screeners. <\/p>\n

According to event organizers, prohibited items inside the venue include:<\/p>\n

Weapons, firearms, explosives of any kind, and pepper spray. Banners, signs, placards, or sign supports. Aerosols, e-cigarettes, and alcoholic beverages. Drones, laser pointers, and noisemakers such as air horns or drums.
