Greg Abbott will visit Lubbock on Friday, October 30, for a get-out-the-vote event, a source close to the governor\u2019s office tells Lubbock Lights.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An online invitation lists a 12:15 p.m. start at The Funky Door Bistro &amp; Wine Room, 6801 Milwaukee Avenue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abbott\u2019s campaign has not independently confirmed the appearance to Lubbock Lights.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The TicketLeap listing identifies Texans for Greg Abbott as the organizer and describes the event as free and family-friendly, with food and light refreshments provided. It says Abbott will discuss the election and encourage Republican turnout.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was not immediately clear whether attendance is by invitation only.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">October 30 is the final day of early voting.
