After showing genuine promise in the early stages of the weekend, Hadjar\u2019s race rapidly unraveled thanks to a cascading series of mechanical and technical failures that left him boiling over with frustration in the media pen.<\/p>\n
During his post-race interview with Sky Sports F1, reporter Craig Slater asked Hadjar to walk through the power deployment issues that derailed his afternoon. The young driver made it abundantly clear that the catastrophic start was entirely a hardware issue, not a driver error.<\/p>\n
\u201cYeah, I\u2019m just watching how my race starts, you know. I do everything perfect in terms of procedure, and then I just have, like, clutch over delivery,\u201d Hadjar vented. \u201cAnd these things that are just out of my control, it\u2019s starting to suck, you know.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Pit Lane Communication Blackout<\/p>\n
If a faulty clutch wasn\u2019t enough of a handicap, the technology on the pit wall completely failed him next. While attempting to execute a crucial pit stop, Hadjar\u2019s radio system died, leaving him entirely in the dark regarding the team\u2019s strategy.<\/p>\n
Because he couldn\u2019t communicate with his engineers, he exited the pit lane with a massively compromised setup.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then I have poor radio coverage; I can\u2019t hear what\u2019s happening in the pits,\u201d Hadjar explained. \u201cI leave the pits with the wrong map, and then I\u2019m losing a second lap every lap on that hard tyre. I mean, it\u2019s just\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
Hemorrhaging a full second per lap in modern Formula 1 is a death sentence for your track position, rendering his entire stint on the hard compound absolutely useless.<\/p>\n
Hadjar: \u201cIt Needs a Redesign\u201d<\/p>\n
Slater then pressed Hadjar on the recurring start issues, asking if the team had offered any software solutions or explanations for the persistent launch glitches. Hadjar completely dismissed the idea of a software patch, taking a direct shot at the engineering department\u2019s hardware.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo, it needs a redesign. That\u2019s it,\u201d he stated bluntly.<\/p>\n
When Slater clarified if he meant the software, Hadjar doubled down.<\/p>\n
