He is then scheduled to speak at 6 p.m. at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, where doors open at 2:30 p.m. The Lubbock stop is expected to support Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ken Paxton, who faces Democrat James Talarico in a competitive race. Trump had originally planned a stop in Waco that day, but organizers shifted it to Corpus Christi.<\/p>\n
