The Webb County Sheriff\u2019s Office is asking for the public\u2019s help locating a man wanted in connection with a Saturday double homicide near Laredo.<\/p>\n
The shooting occurred about 11:27 p.m. Oct. 24 at 808 Main St. in the Pueblo Nuevo community, about 11 miles east of Laredo off State Highway 359.<\/p>\n
Deputies found two people suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and began lifesaving measures, including CPR.<\/p>\n
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second was taken to a local hospital and later died.<\/p>\n
The suspect was identified as 39-year-old Manuel De Jesus Cruz-Estudillo, according to the sheriff\u2019s office.<\/p>\n
Two arrest warrants charging Cruz-Estudillo with murder were issued following the investigation.<\/p>\n
The sheriff\u2019s office said Cruz-Estudillo is considered armed and extremely dangerous and was last seen driving a black Volkswagen Atlas SUV.<\/p>\n
A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to Cruz-Estudillo\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n
Anyone with information about the shooting or Cruz-Estudillo\u2019s whereabouts is asked to call the Webb County Sheriff\u2019s Office at 956-415-BUST (2878) or Webb County dispatch at 956-523-4408.<\/p>\n
