Most of that advantage \u201ccomes directly from the Stars.\u201d Campaign finance records show that the team\u2019s corporate entity \u201ccontributed more than $980,000 to Victory Green Plano,\u201d the PAC campaigning for Proposition A. The ballot measure \u201casks voters to approve up to five taxes to help fund a city-owned arena for the\u202fNHL team.\u201d The competing Stop the Stars Arena committee, formed by residents, has \u201craised around $13,000 from a few dozen Plano residents,\u201d according to the latest campaign finance records.
