By\u00a0Melissa Walker, Environmental Education Specialist<\/p>\n The 2027 Turn Around Don\u2019t Drown Art Contest begins on Monday, November 2. \u00a0City staff will be accepting entries into our annual Turn Around Don\u2019t Drown Art Contest. Every year the Department of Public Works\u2019 Stormwater Management team provides an opportunity for elementary school students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades to show their creativity and artistic skills by illustrating the dangers of driving, riding a bike or walking through flooded roadways.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n The guidelines for the Art Contest are as follows:<\/p>\n
Submitting Artwork<\/p>\n
All entries must include the following information on the back of the drawing:<\/p>\n
