Ultimate Stadium Sak<\/a>, was highlighted on the \u201cToday\u201d show after being selected from thousands of nominations.<\/p>\nFrazier, who works at KK\u2019s Corner Mall in Lubbock\u2014a business owned by her mother\u2014said the idea for the product came to her about seven years ago during a football game.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was watching my son play football, and I reached down to adjust my blanket, and I missed his touchdown,\u201d Frazier said. \u201cAnd at that moment, I thought, there has to be another way. There has to be another way to stay warm.\u201d<\/p>\n
From concept to national spotlight<\/p>\n
Frazier researched existing products, brought an initial item to market, then modified the design by adding sleeves. The product is now patented and trademarked.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think the easiest way is just to unzip and step in it,\u201d Frazier said while demonstrating the product. \u201cAnd then I step on the bottom and pull it up and it\u2019s warm. You\u2019ve got your pockets.\u201d<\/p>\n
While the sack is sold locally at KK\u2019s Corner Mall, Frazier said the majority of sales come online, shipping to customers across the United States and Canada.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis one lady, she\u2019s like, if it hadn\u2019t been for your sack, I couldn\u2019t have gone to my kids\u2019, my grandkids\u2019 games,\u201d Frazier said. \u201cShe can\u2019t sit out in the weather. And she said, I got your sack and now I can go.\u201d<\/p>\n
A full circle moment<\/p>\n
The national appearance marked a return to the morning program for Frazier and her family. In 2019, Frazier stood outside the studio wearing the product with her husband and children, attempting to share samples with the anchors.<\/p>\n
\u201cI brought a lot to give to the anchors,\u201d Frazier said. \u201cWell, I didn\u2019t get to give it to them, so I gave it to the producers. I don\u2019t think I ever made it to them. And so, like, this was a full circle moment for it to actually be featured on the Today Show.\u201d<\/p>\n
During the recent broadcast, co-host Jenna Bush Hager also wore the wearable blanket on air later in the morning.<\/p>\n
\u201cJust like anybody else, you have self-doubt. You know, like, can I really do this?\u201d Frazier said. \u201cAnd it\u2019s been fun to see it grow more and more every year. And then The Today Show was kind of the icing on the cake, honestly.\u201d<\/p>\n
