Usually a deadline buyer, the Eagles (2-5) are in a clear seller situation entering this year\u2019s pre-deadline stretch. Philadelphia is expected to play the rest of the season without Jalen Hurts<\/a>, and the team lost two of its offensive line pillars \u2014 Lane Johnson<\/a> (retirement), Cam Jurgens<\/a> (trade) \u2014 in the same week this month. Teams will be curious about what can be pried from Philly in the next two weeks.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Saquon Barkley<\/a>\u2019s name has naturally come up, but the star running back has run into multiple injury issues this season. His value is not where it was after a transcendent 2024 Eagles debut. Barkley could be dealt, but some other Eagles appear likelier to move.<\/p>\n

The Eagles are expected to field offers on Landon Dickerson<\/a>, Dallas Goedert<\/a> and Riq Woolen<\/a>, Fox Sports\u2019 Ralph Vacchiano notes<\/a>. Teams obviously entertain many trade offers, but with Dickerson and Goedert being pillars for both Philly\u2019s Super Bowl teams this decade, their status on the trade block is certainly notable.<\/p>\n

A solid all-around tight end, Goedert is in his ninth season with the Eagles. After the sides agreed to push the tight end\u2019s void date back multiple times in March, a one-year, $7MM re-signing agreement<\/a> came to pass. Goedert missed time earlier this season but has returned to full strength, though injuries have frequently slowed him down in recent years.<\/p>\n

Seeing as this is the Eagles, four void years are on Goedert\u2019s deal for cap purposes. The 31-year-old tight end is tied to a vet-minimum base salary, but Philly moving on this year would bring a dead money charge at around $28MM between this year and next. Though, if the Eagles do not re-sign Goedert by the time his deal voids next March, they would take on nearly $19MM in dead cap.<\/p>\n

Dickerson, 28, is signed through the 2027 season and came off IR this week. Playing through an injury in Week 1, Dickerson reemerged at his left guard spot Monday night. A recent report indicated the Pro Bowler was disgruntled<\/a>, and with the Eagles already trading Jurgens and seeing Johnson retire, a full-on overhaul (save for longtime LT Jordan Mailata<\/a>) may be in the works.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>An offseason pay cut removed a year from Dickerson\u2019s contract<\/a>. Three void years are on this deal; were Philadelphia to move on before the deadline, roughly $17MM in dead cap \u2014 split over two years \u2014 would arrive. Dead money piling up is common for the Eagles, who have been using void years and option bonuses to create cap savings for years. Philly\u2019s payroll is 30 players deep in dead cap<\/a>, with a total surpassing $82MM as of Thursday.<\/p>\n

Four void years are even present on Woolen\u2019s one-year, $12MM pact, though this is the rare Eagles starter to be tied to a non-vet-minimum or rookie-wage salary. Woolen is on a $6MM base number; an acquiring team would absorb around $3MM if a trade is made. The former Seahawks starter has worked as an Eagles first-stringer in each game, but with Quinyon Mitchell<\/a> and Cooper DeJean<\/a> in place as cornerstones (who become extension-eligible next year), Woolen is probably expendable \u2014 as he aims to do better on the 2027 free agent market.<\/p>\n

Eagles sell-offs should be expected soon, per Vacchiano, though the team\u2019s preferred contract structure \u2014 as the A.J. Brown<\/a> post-June 1 saga showed this year \u2014 can make such an effort tricky. The Goedert contract would be easy for another team to take on, however, and Dickerson\u2019s deal does not include any guaranteed money after 2026.
