SAN ANTONIO – Tx \u2014 A University of Texas at San Antonio student is drawing widespread attention after reciting a poem celebrating the anniversary of Charlie Kirk\u2019s assassination at a University in Utah in 2025.<\/p>\n
The student who introduced herself as Pamper Baby at Turning Point USA\u2019s Pick Up the Mic event last month is being accused of taking things to far.<\/p>\n
Pamper Baby recited the poem to Christian Collins, a conservative activist who says he came to USTA to talk about Christ, abortions and feminism during the Pick Up the Mic event that encourages students to debate similar controversial topics.<\/p>\n
The poem mimicked Clement Clarke Moore\u2019s \u2018Twas the Night Before Christmas.\u2019<\/p>\n
“Twas the night before the kirk-aversary and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse,\u201d Pamper Baby read. \u201cThe flags were hung proudly. The memes were all on deck as we solemnly remembered a shot to the neck. The podcast grew silent. The hot-takes grew weary. For tomorrow dear friends is the great Kirk-aversary.”<\/p>\n
Collins who is the president and founder of Texas Youth Summit says the poem caught him off-guard.<\/p>\n
\u201cI felt surprised,\u201d Collins said. \u201cI knew that there were people like this. I knew that the left felt this way. There were so many people singing songs, mocking Charlie Kirk. I\u2019ve seen it online, but to experience it first-hand.\u201d<\/p>\n
After reciting the poem \u2018Pamper Baby\u2019 called Collins brave for coming to UTSA.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019re brave for being on this campus with no neck brace,\u201d Pamper Baby said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not afraid because I know where I\u2019m going,\u201d Collins said. \u201cI\u2019m going to heaven. But it did feel like a threat. It was an indirect threat. The goal of this is to scare people from doing what Charlie Kirk did because they will be intimidated by these conversations.\u201d<\/p>\n
We tracked down the student who recited the poem. She has not responded to our request for an interview.<\/p>\n
UTSA says the student\u2019s comments do not reflect their values, an they are reviewing the circumstances.<\/p>\n
