AUSTIN, Texas – The Austin Police Department is asking for help identifying a serial burglary suspect.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The backstory:<\/p>\n
Police said the suspect is connected to a series of burglaries from March to October this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The suspect targeted, burglarized and stole money from the safes and cash registers of several East Austin businesses.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In all burglaries, the suspect hid his face with a hoodie.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police described the suspect as a black man with an athletic build, about 20\u201330 years old and about 6 feet tall.<\/p>\n
