Cesar Chavez St.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said the suspect targeted multiple businesses, stealing cash from safes and registers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cbsaustin.com\/news\/local\/austin-police-seek-suspect-who-threatened-employee-threw-wine-bottles-during-robbery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">ALSO| APD seeks suspect who threatened employee, threw wine bottles during robbery in S Austin<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Police said the suspect concealed his face during each burglary by pulling a hoodie tightly over his head.<\/p>\n<p>APD described the suspect as a Black man between 20 and 30 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, with an athletic build. He was seen wearing a dark blue or black hooded jacket with white stripes running down the sleeves.<\/p>\n<p>Police released surveillance images of the suspect in hopes that someone may recognize him.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information is asked to contact APD&#8217;s Commercial Burglary Unit at APDCommercialBurglary@austintexas.gov. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Capital Area Crime Stoppers or by calling 512-472-8477.
