{"id":482905,"date":"2026-11-01T04:06:47","date_gmt":"2026-11-01T04:06:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/482905\/"},"modified":"2026-11-01T04:06:47","modified_gmt":"2026-11-01T04:06:47","slug":"east-side-neighbors-concerned-saddened-by-shooting-death-of-16-year-old-boy-on-halloween-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/482905\/","title":{"rendered":"East Side neighbors concerned, saddened by shooting death of 16-year-old boy on Halloween weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">SAN ANTONIO \u2013 East Side neighbors were concerned Saturday after a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ksat.com\/news\/local\/2026\/10\/31\/16-year-old-found-dead-in-middle-of-road-after-shooting-on-east-side-police-say\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ksat.com\/news\/local\/2026\/10\/31\/16-year-old-found-dead-in-middle-of-road-after-shooting-on-east-side-police-say\/\">16-year-old boy was killed in a shooting<\/a> the night before Halloween.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Gloria Reyna said she did not even hear the sirens after falling asleep and was unaware anything had happened until she went outside Saturday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">\u201cMy neighbor, she asked me if I knew what happened, and I said no,\u201d Reyna said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Reyna said it was hard to hear someone so young lose their life in such a violent way in her neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">\u201cI\u2019m so sorry for his family.
