The scene is secure after a man was wounded in a shooting at Cielo Vista Mall on Halloween evening, an El Paso police spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

El Paso police officers responded to a report of a shooting about 5:53 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at the popular mall at 8401 Gateway West Blvd., an El Paso Police Department spokesperson said in a media message.<\/p>\n

“There is no threat to the public, the scene is secure,” a police spokesperson stated, adding that one man was transported to a hospital in undisclosed condition.<\/p>\n

Details on how and where the shooting took place at the mall were not immediately available as an investigation continued on Saturday night.<\/p>\n
