A mile of lights and beats from the North Pole make Frisco shine bright this holiday season<\/p>\n
If your idea of holiday magic involves a light show so bright you can probably see it from space, you\u2019re in luck. The Light Park has officially returned to Frisco, transforming the Riders Field parking lot into a mile-long, drive-thru wonderland filled with millions of LED lights, synchronized to an energetic soundtrack spun by none other than DJ Polar Ice of the North Pole\u2019s #1 hit radio station, K-GLO.<\/p>\n
What To Expect<\/p>\n
Running nightly from Nov. 7 through Jan. 4, The Light Park isn\u2019t your average neighborhood display. Guests stay warm and cozy in their cars as they roll through tunnels of color, towering trees and shimmering light sculptures that seem to dance perfectly in time to the music. The whole show stretches for a full mile, complete with what organizers call the world\u2019s longest light tunnel.<\/p>\n
With ticket prices starting at $29.99 per vehicle, you can pack in as many family members, friends or pajama-clad passengers as your car allows. Pets are welcome too, as long as they stay inside the vehicle. Just remember: no stopping, no parking and no hopping out mid-tunnel for selfies (no matter how tempting the glow).<\/p>\n

Tunes From The Top Of The World<\/p>\n
Every visitor tunes their car radio to K-GLO, the \u201cNorth Pole\u2019s #1 hit radio station,\u201d for a custom holiday soundtrack that keeps the energy high from start to finish. Think traditional carols reimagined with a dance beat, and a healthy dose of DJ Polar Ice\u2019s arctic flair.<\/p>\n
As The Light Park\u2019s team puts it, it\u2019s \u201ca symphony of color and sound,\u201d where you\u2019re surrounded by glowing trees, spinning light tunnels and pulsing beats that make you want to honk along to the rhythm (please don\u2019t).<\/p>\n

The Frisco show takes place at Riders Field, 7300 Rough Riders Trail, but fans can also catch the spectacle in Arlington (1800 E. Lamar Blvd.) and Little Elm (701 W. Eldorado Pkwy).<\/p>\n
Operating hours vary, but most weeknights run from 5:30 to 10 p.m., with extended hours until 11 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
