The Light Park has officially returned to Frisco, transforming the Riders Field parking lot into a mile-long, drive-thru wonderland filled with millions of LED lights, synchronized to an energetic soundtrack spun by none other than DJ Polar Ice of the North Pole’s #1 hit radio station, K-GLO.

What To Expect

Running nightly from Nov. 7 through Jan. 4, The Light Park isn’t your average neighborhood display. Guests stay warm and cozy in their cars as they roll through tunnels of color, towering trees and shimmering light sculptures that seem to dance perfectly in time to the music. The whole show stretches for a full mile, complete with what organizers call the world’s longest light tunnel.

With ticket prices starting at $29.99 per vehicle, you can pack in as many family members, friends or pajama-clad passengers as your car allows. Pets are welcome too, as long as they stay inside the vehicle. Just remember: no stopping, no parking and no hopping out mid-tunnel for selfies (no matter how tempting the glow).

Photo: Matilda Preisendorf | Local Profile

Tunes From The Top Of The World

Every visitor tunes their car radio to K-GLO, the “North Pole’s #1 hit radio station,” for a custom holiday soundtrack that keeps the energy high from start to finish. Think traditional carols reimagined with a dance beat, and a healthy dose of DJ Polar Ice’s arctic flair.

As The Light Park’s team puts it, it’s “a symphony of color and sound,” where you’re surrounded by glowing trees, spinning light tunnels and pulsing beats that make you want to honk along to the rhythm (please don’t).

Giving Back While You Glow

This year, The Light Park is adding even more heart to the sparkle with themed donation nights that support North Texas nonprofits:

Thankful Thursday (Nov. 13): North Texas Food Bank – Bring non-perishable food items
Warmth Wednesday (Nov. 19): Austin Street Center – Blankets, socks and warm clothing
Toy Tuesday (Nov. 25): Community Partners of Dallas – New toys, games and books for kids in CPS care
Santa Paws (Dec. 2): SPCA of Texas – Pet food, toys and supplies

Photo: Matilda Preisendorf | Local Profile

Guests who donate during these special evenings will receive a complimentary holiday bundle filled with surprise treats from The Light Park.

Where To Find The Fun

The Frisco show takes place at Riders Field, 7300 Rough Riders Trail, but fans can also catch the spectacle in Arlington (1800 E. Lamar Blvd.) and Little Elm (701 W. Eldorado Pkwy).

Operating hours vary, but most weeknights run from 5:30 to 10 p.m., with extended hours until 11 p.m. on weekends and holidays. Tickets must be purchased in advance online at www.thelightpark.com, with reserved entry times to keep traffic flowing smoothly.

Headlights Off, Spirits On

Before you enter, there’s just one rule worth remembering: headlights off while you drive through, but don’t forget to turn them back on before you hit the exit. Because while you may be lost in the magic, the real world (and traffic) still awaits.

With millions of lights, a thumping North Pole beat and enough holiday cheer to power Santa’s sleigh, The Light Park might just be the brightest holiday tradition in North Texas.

Don’t miss anything Local. Sign up for our free newsletter.

A mile of lights and beats from the North Pole make Frisco shine bright this holiday season If…

[15
27786,160,162,161
0":"post-48460","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-plano","8":"tag-christmaschristmas-lightsarts-and-cultureholidaysholiday-lightsnorth-texasfriscoriders-fieldnewsletter_allthe-light-park","9":"tag-plano","10":"tag-plano-headlines","11":"tag-plano-news
["GET
