The once-lively property has remained quiet until recently, when its deed changed hands, pointing to a sweet revival for the empty building.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bexar.trueautomation.com\/clientdb\/Property.aspx?cid=110&amp;prop_id=617114\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:According to\u00a0county\u00a0records;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">According to\u00a0county\u00a0records<\/a>, El\u00a0Bolillo Bakery, a popular Houston chain of panader\u00edas, has acquired the former home of the San Antonio strip club, where it will soon begin to mold the space into one of its massive, colorful bakeries. MySA reached out to the company for confirmation about El\u00a0Bolillo Bakery opening its first outpost in the Alamo City.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;Expanding to San Antonio is an incredible milestone,&#8221; Andrew Miller, COO of El\u00a0Bolillo Bakery, said in a statement. &#8220;We look forward to sharing the same warmth, tradition, and inclusivity that have made El Bolillo a Houston favorite.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Exterior of El Bolillo Bakery. The bakery chain is known for its cakes, conchas and various pan dulce confections. Earlier this year, Texas Highways dubbed El\u00a0Bolillo Bakery the &#8220;Buc-ee&#8217;s of panader\u00edas&#8221; in <a href=\"https:\/\/texashighways.com\/food-drink\/houstons-el-bolillo-bakery-is-the-buc-ees-of-panaderias\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:an article about the business expanding;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">an article about the business expanding<\/a> to Austin and Dallas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A project details page registered with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tdlr.texas.gov\/TABS\/Search\/Project\/TABS2026003038\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation<\/a> lists that the estimated cost to make over the defunct club into a full-fledged bakery will be around $1.5 million.
