AUSTIN, TX \u2014 Austin police have identified the victim<\/a> of a fatal shooting early Sunday at a North Austin 7-Eleven<\/a> and are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect.<\/p>\n

Quinton Arnold, 37, was pronounced dead at 4:19 a.m. Sunday after being shot in the parking lot of the convenience store at 1822 Rutland Drive, according to the Austin Police Department.<\/p>\n

Officers responded to a shooting call at 3:11 a.m. and found Arnold on the ground next to his vehicle with a gunshot wound, police said.<\/p>\n

The preliminary investigation shows Arnold was standing outside the 7-Eleven when a suspect vehicle pulled up and opened fire on him before fleeing the scene, according to police.<\/p>\n

Homicide detectives and crime scene specialists processed the scene and interviewed witnesses. The suspect remains at large.<\/p>\n

Police are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the area to come forward with information<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The case marks Austin’s 47th homicide of 2025.<\/p>\n
