The home team dominated the paint with 38 points and capitalized on 19 points off turnovers. Regis managed 70 points but struggled with turnovers, committing 15 throughout the game.<\/p>\n<p>Lubbock Christian improved to 4-0 overall after a decisive victory. Regis now stands at 0-2 on the season.<\/p>\n<p>LCU opened the game with a decisive offensive surge, establishing a 6\u20130 lead within the first two minutes, highlighted by <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/kendall-dow\/4358\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4358\" target=\"_blank\">Kendall Dow&#8217;s<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/amondo-miller-jr-\/4437\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4437\" target=\"_blank\">Amondo Miller Jr.&#8217;s<\/a> early jumpers. The home team continued to dominate through the half, with <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/alex-anamekwe\/4433\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4433\" target=\"_blank\">Alex Anamekwe<\/a> contributing a block and an assist, while Miller Jr. added a series of successful shots, including a three-pointer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Chaparrals&#8217; relentless pressure and efficient shooting from beyond the arc, with 13 made 3-pointers, allowed them to extend their lead. The half ended with the Chaparrals leading 58\u201329. Dow led the way in the half with 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting.<\/p>\n<p>Early in the second half the Chaps were able to extend their lead, highlighted by Miller Jr.&#8217;s layup and subsequent jumper, setting the tone with a 62\u201329 advantage at the 19:07 mark. A three-pointer by <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/lucas-mercandino\/4926\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4926\" target=\"_blank\">Lucas Mercandino<\/a>, assisted by Miller Jr., further solidified their control.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Regis attempted to stay competitive, but the Chaps maintained momentum through consistent scoring, including a fastbreak three-pointer by Dow at 14:40. LCU&#8217;s largest lead came at the 11:08 mark, when a layup from Mercandino put them up by 46.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the Rangers&#8217; efforts, Lubbock Christian&#8217;s balanced attack and effective rebounding kept them ahead, finishing the half with a 47\u201341 edge to conclude the game at 105\u201370.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/amondo-miller-jr-\/4437\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4437\" target=\"_blank\">Amondo Miller Jr.<\/a> led with 23 points, converting 10 of 13 field goals, including three three-pointers. <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/kendall-dow\/4358\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4358\" target=\"_blank\">Kendall Dow<\/a> added 20 points, successfully making six 3-pointers out of 11 attempts. <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/lucas-mercandino\/4926\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4926\" target=\"_blank\">Lucas Mercandino<\/a> contributed 16 points and dished out six assists. <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/jett-mccasland\/4925\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4925\" target=\"_blank\">Jett McCasland<\/a> scored 10 points, with all three of his field goals coming from beyond the arc, and recorded two steals.<\/p>\n<p>GAME NOTES:<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n&#8211; Twelve different Chaparrals players scored in the game, including the first collegiate points for <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/devin-baccas\/4434\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4434\" target=\"_blank\">Devin Baccas<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/emerson-juhasz\/4924\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4924\" target=\"_blank\">Emerson Juhasz<\/a><br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n&#8211; The 105 points scored by the Chaps were the most since Nov. 26, 2024, when they scored 108 against UT Dallas<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n&#8211; Miller Jr.&#8217;s team-high 23 points made this the third time in four games that he has led the Chaps in scoring<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n&#8211; The Chaps shot 60.6 percent from the field, which is their highest single-game mark so far this season.
