{"id":53089,"date":"2025-11-17T16:21:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-17T16:21:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/53089\/"},"modified":"2025-11-17T16:21:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-17T16:21:07","slug":"owner-of-renowned-north-texas-bakery-to-compete-on-next-level-baker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/53089\/","title":{"rendered":"Owner of renowned North Texas bakery to compete on &#8216;Next Level Baker&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Maricsa Trejo, the co-owner of La Casita bakery in Richardson, will compete on a holiday iteration of Gordon Ramsey&#8217;s &#8216;Next Level Chef.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>DALLAS \u2014 The owner of one of North Texas&#8217; best bakeries will compete next month on Next Level Baker, a holiday iteration of Gordon Ramsey&#8217;s Next Level Chef.<\/p>\n<p>Maricsa Trejo, the co-owner of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfaa.com\/article\/life\/food\/coffee-shop-and-bakery-open-in-dallas-flagship-half-price-books\/287-5f64e06a-8f89-41a2-913b-13d6bffddd2e\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">La Casita Bakery<\/a> with locations in Richardson, Dallas and Frisco, will compete in December on Next Level Baker\u00a0on FOX, the network announced.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Next Level Baker\u00a0will pit professional, social media and home bakers against each other on a three-tiered set, the network said. Competitors will have to cope with baking in a basement level where the equipment is challenging, the middle level, which is an average kitchen and the top level, which is state-of-the-art.<\/p>\n<p>The show will air over three weeks starting Dec. 4.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This has been the biggest secret I have had to keep from ya&#8217;ll! I am an official baker on the first-of-its-kind show! Next Level Baker!!&#8221; Trejo said in an Instagram post. &#8220;This is the biggest thing I have done to date and I am so ready for Christmas! Move over Thanksgiving!!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The show will air on both FOX and Hulu. It will be judged by celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsey, Carla Hall and Candace Nelson.
