The suspect in a Plano hammer attack was an illegal alien, released under former President Joe Biden\u2019s administration.<\/p>\n
Sergio Noe de Nova Duarte, 17, was charged with aggravated kidnapping<\/a> for allegedly attacking a woman with a hammer in Plano\u2019s Bob Woodruff Park on November 13, as The Dallas Express reported. Meanwhile, Plano Fire-Rescue brought the woman to a local hospital. That night, Plano police announced they had captured Duarte.<\/p>\n He allegedly tried to duct tape<\/a> the woman during the attack, but she fought him off, according to Fox News National Correspondent Brooke Taylor.<\/p>\n Duarte first entered<\/a> America in 2016 on a B2 tourist visa, which required him to leave the country in September that year, according to the release. But he reportedly had a \u201clengthy rap sheet,\u201d including 2024 arrests for burglary and larceny.<\/p>\n After these arrests, ICE apprehended Duarte \u2013 but the Biden administration reportedly released<\/a> him back into the country, with a notice to appear before an immigration judge in 2026.<\/p>\n
