The occupants of both vehicles got out to exchange information. LPD Irvin Cortes, 18, a passenger in the black SUV, was standing in the road behind the Jeep when he was struck by a Yukon driven by Roderick Taylor, 29, <\/p>\n<p>\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.everythinglubbock.com\/news\/local-news\/uber-driver-kidnapping-police-chase\/?ipid=promo-link-block2\" class=\"promo-link__link\" target=\"&quot;_blank&quot;\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><br \/>\n\t\tFake Uber driver accused of kidnapping women on Broadway St. in Lubbock \t<\/a><\/p>\n<p>LPD said Cortes was seriously hurt and taken to University Medical Center by EMS. Some other passengers in the vehicles had minor and moderate injuries.
