{"id":54545,"date":"2025-11-18T13:11:27","date_gmt":"2025-11-18T13:11:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/54545\/"},"modified":"2025-11-18T13:11:27","modified_gmt":"2025-11-18T13:11:27","slug":"ramen-del-barrio-changing-its-austin-location-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/54545\/","title":{"rendered":"Ramen del Barrio changing its Austin location soon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Michelin award-winning Mexican and Japanese fusion spot will soon be leaving its highly visited stomping grounds in Central Texas.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysanantonio.com\/food\/article\/austin-james-beard-award-semifinalists-18625516.php\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">Ramen del Barrio<\/a> recently announced it will be getting a new home in Austin early next year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DQ159vTDmk_\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">in a social media post<\/a> that its current location at Hana World Market in north Austin is closing\u00a0at\u00a0the end of 2025. Ramen del Barrio&#8217;s last day of service at Hana World&#8217;s food court will be December 21, but shortly after that fans can expect a nearby relocation.<\/p>\n<p>In July, the Mexican Ramen hotspot <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DMc9ZPUMXti\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">revealed <\/a>it would be moving to 2007 Kramer Lane, which is only about 2.5 miles from its original on\u00a0Parmer Lane. Although Ramen del Barrio is currently in the process of relocating, the restaurant said it won&#8217;t be quite ready to make its &#8220;transition right away&#8221; as it aims to open in mid-late January.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This means RDB will be on break for hopefully no more than a month,&#8221; owner and chef Christopher Krinsky wrote on Instagram. &#8220;All endings have new beginnings, and we cant wait to serve you all in our new shop. Until then, please keep supporting us here at\u00a0Hana World!! Salud gente!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Krinskey <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statesman.com\/story\/entertainment\/dining\/2025\/07\/24\/award-winning-ramen-del-barrio-to-open-full-bar-in-north-austin\/85353230007\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">told the Austin American-Statesman<\/a> that the new restaurant will fully transform into an elevated izakaya-ramen shop hybrid with a full bar featuring a\u00a0selection of Japanese whiskey and Mexican mezcal. In addition to offering its famous broths with a Mexican twist, such as\u00a0Pozole and Carnitas Tonkotsus, the restaurant\u00a0also serves\u00a0mariscos, salsas and yaki-tacos, according to its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramendelbarrio.com\/menu\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">menu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Once open, Ramen del Barrio&#8217;s new Kramer location plans to transition into a seven-day lunch and dinner service.
