The announcement comes on the heels of a historic 2024\u201325 campaign in which both programs reached NCAA Regionals, including the men advancing to Florida and finishing as national semifinalists for the first time in school history.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nMEN&#8217;S NATIONAL &amp; REGIONAL IMPACT<br \/>\nLCU&#8217;s men produced one of the strongest combined ranking performances in the nation, headlined by junior <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/mens-tennis\/roster\/kelly-giese\/4868\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4868\" target=\"_blank\">Kelly Giese<\/a>, who earned the program&#8217;s highest national placement with a No. 4 ITA singles ranking. The Manhattan Beach, Calif., native is 11\u20134 in singles play this season, 7\u20133 in his last 10, and reached the ITA Cup as a fall qualifier. Giese also opens the spring as the No. 1 singles player in the South Central Region.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nSenior <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/mens-tennis\/roster\/andres-de-los-rios\/4864\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4864\" target=\"_blank\">Andres De Los Rios<\/a> joins Giese inside the top-20 nationally at No. 17, backed by a team-leading 13\u20135 singles record and an ITA Cup appearance. Regionally, he enters at No. 3.<br \/>\nJunior <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/mens-tennis\/roster\/pablo-segura\/4872\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4872\" target=\"_blank\">Pablo Segura<\/a> is ranked No. 18 nationally after an 8\u20136 singles fall and lands No. 6 in the region, while senior <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/mens-tennis\/roster\/mattia-ghedin\/4867\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4867\" target=\"_blank\">Mattia Ghedin<\/a> slots in at No. 26 nationally and No. 7 regionally with his own 8\u20136 mark.<\/p>\n<p>Sophomore <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/mens-tennis\/roster\/marco-seccia\/4871\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4871\" target=\"_blank\">Marco Seccia<\/a>, at 4\u20132 in singles, rounds out LCU&#8217;s regional presence at No. 13.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nDoubles rankings produced similar balance and depth, with three Chap pairs inside the South Central top 10:<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u2022 De Los Rios \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/mens-tennis\/roster\/jordan-georgiev\/4866\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4866\" target=\"_blank\">Jordan Georgiev<\/a> debut at No. 5 with a 5\u20131 record together.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u2022 Giese \/ Segura rank No. 6, their 6\u20133 record pacing all LCU doubles teams in wins.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u2022 Ghedin \/ Seccia enter at No. 8 after posting a 3\u20133 fall season.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nThe strong showing reinforces LCU&#8217;s depth across the lineup, with five players among the region&#8217;s top 13 singles competitors\u2014more than any other program in the South Central.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nWOMEN&#8217;S NATIONAL &amp; REGIONAL MARKS<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nOn the women&#8217;s side, sophomore <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/anamaria-zoric\/4883\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4883\" target=\"_blank\">AnaMaria Zoric<\/a> leads the way with a No. 34 national singles ranking, the highest in her young career. The Dubrovnik, Croatia, product is 6\u20135 this season and co-leads the Lady Chaps in singles victories.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nRegionally, Zoric climbs to No. 4. She is joined by senior <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/oshini-herath\/4877\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4877\" target=\"_blank\">Oshini Herath<\/a>, who comes in at No. 14 with a 4\u20135 record, and junior <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/andrea-de-bernardo\/4875\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4875\" target=\"_blank\">Andrea De Bernardo<\/a>, ranked No. 18 after a 5\u20134 singles start to the year.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nIn doubles, first-year teammates Sofia Valero and <a href=\"https:\/\/lcuchaps.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/kristel-jativa\/4884\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4884\" target=\"_blank\">Kristel Jativa<\/a> enter the South Central rankings at No. 7, carrying a 4\u20135 fall season together.
