{"id":55577,"date":"2025-11-19T03:09:09","date_gmt":"2025-11-19T03:09:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/55577\/"},"modified":"2025-11-19T03:09:09","modified_gmt":"2025-11-19T03:09:09","slug":"six-flags-over-texas-gives-first-look-at-record-breaking-tormenta-rampaging-run-roller-coaster","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/55577\/","title":{"rendered":"Six Flags Over Texas gives first look at record-breaking \u2018Tormenta Rampaging Run\u2019 roller coaster"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Six Flags Over Texas unveils the train for its record-breaking Tormenta coaster, set to open in 2026, promising to smash six world records.<\/p>\n<p>ARLINGTON, Texas \u2014 Six Flags Over Texas gave fans a sneak peek Tuesday at the train for Tormenta Rampaging Run, their new record-breaking dive coaster set to open in 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The reveal happened both at the park in Arlington and at the IAAPA Expo in Orlando, and it\u2019s safe to say coaster enthusiasts are already buzzing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfaa.com\/article\/entertainment\/six-flags-new-rollercoaster-world-records-tormenta-rampaging-run\/287-cac2e526-6d7b-4b28-b33e-08632f05b1de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Announced back in September<\/a>, Tormenta is being billed as the world\u2019s first \u201cgiga dive coaster\u201d and is expected to smash six world records, including the tallest, fastest, and longest dive coaster in the world. With the train now on display and track installation well underway, the ride is starting to come to life in a big way.<\/p>\n<p>                <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"photo__placeholder\" loading=\"eager\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/e27bc143-c400-47cf-a323-02d2020c4e28_16x9.jpg\"\/><br \/>\n                <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"photo__main\" loading=\"eager\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/e27bc143-c400-47cf-a323-02d2020c4e28_1140x641.jpg\"  alt=\"\" style=\"opacity:0\" onload=\"this.style.opacity=1\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Tormenta is themed after the Spanish tradition of the running of the bulls. Each train has three rows of eight seats, fitting 24 riders per trip. The cars are sculpted with flowing lines to evoke the bulls and the runners, with vibrant colors inspired by the legend of the bull \u201cTormenta\u201d and its community.<\/p>\n<p>The ride will sit in \u201cRancha do la Tormenta,\u201d a reimagined Spanish village.
