Flooding and Drought at the Same Time?<\/p>\n
That\u2019s our big concern with the front we\u2019re tracking late week. After flirting with record-breaking heat the past several days, our dirt is bone-dry. So any decent rain won\u2019t soak in\u2014it\u2019ll have nowhere to go, raising the flood risk even if the totals don\u2019t look extreme on paper.<\/p>\n

Behind Thursday\u2019s cold front, temperatures will continue to fall back in the 70s. The next time we\u2019re waking up in the 50s looks to be this weekend! There will also be an additional rainmaker next mid-week that could bring in some messy driving conditions if you\u2019re heading out before the holiday. <\/p>\n
