NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O\u2019Neal<\/a> is bringing his electronic music festival back to Fort Worth for a third year. <\/p>\n

Shaq\u2019s Bass All-Stars Festival<\/a> will return to Panther Island Pavilion on March 21, 2026. <\/p>\n

O\u2019Neal will perform once more as DJ Diesel, a moniker he adopted as a nod to his towering frame and energy as a young hooper. Others described him as \u201ca diesel truck with no brakes coming down the hill,\u201d he told The Dallas Morning News last year. <\/p>\n

Across two stages, acts Levity, Wooli, GorillaT, Jessica Audiffred, Drinkurwater and an unannounced special guest headliner will also perform sets. <\/p>\n

O\u2019Neal, who is no stranger to mosh pits, told The News in 2024 that dubstep \u2014 a pulsating genre that attendees will hear \u2014 \u201cis the most physical form\u201d of electronic dance music. <\/p>\n

After retiring from basketball, O\u2019Neal picked up DJing, a craft he had dabbled in as a teen ever since hearing the pioneering hip-hop group Public Enemy. Later, as an adult, his interest in electronic music was cemented by shows from DJs Steve Aoki and Ti\u00ebsto. <\/p>\n

O\u2019Neal launched the All-Stars festival in Fort Worth in 2023<\/a>, and the inaugural edition drew roughly 15,000 fans. He decided to start the event in North Texas because of his yearslong ties to the area. <\/p>\n

In the early aughts, he wanted to be traded to the Dallas Mavericks<\/a> so he could play with Dirk Nowitzki<\/a>. <\/p>\n

O\u2019Neal bought an estate in Carrollton<\/a> in 2022, though he later sold that home<\/a> after reportedly purchasing a property in Rockwall County<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m gonna end up living in Dallas for the rest of my life,\u201d he told The News. <\/p>\n

For those wanting to mosh before March, O\u2019Neal will ring in the New Year on Dec. 31 with a set at Texas Live! in Arlington<\/a> after the Cotton Bowl Classic. <\/p>\n
