Wimberley had a senior duo take command as Jackson Parker<\/a> threw for 230 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes and Maverick Jacobs<\/a> rushed for 59 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven carries. A big part of Robstown’s win came down to the chemistry between Trevin Crowley<\/a> and his top target Timothy Sanchez<\/a>. Crowley threw for 177 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes while Sanchez gained 147 total yards and two touchdowns. Sanchez’s longest rush was for an impressive 61 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.<\/p>\n

Wimberley’s record now sits at 7-4. As for Robstown, their record is now an identical 7-4.<\/p>\n

Thursday’s contest might be decided on the ground. Wimberley has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 160.2 rushing yards per game.
