CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 The Corpus Christi Police Department responded in tandem with the Corpus Christi Fire Department on Tuesday to a major vehicle accident on westbound Highway 358 near the Ayers Street exit.<\/p>\n

According to CCPD PIO Madeline Vaughn, three vehicles were involved in the crash. One juvenile was transported to a local hospital as a precaution, Vaughn said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The crash caused delays in the westbound lanes as officers directed traffic around the scene.\u00a0<\/p>\n

An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.\u00a0<\/p>\n
