Prosper<\/a> was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Plano East Panthers<\/a>. Unfortunately, that’s the second time they’ve come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.<\/p>\n

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 19-25, 25-15, 25-23.<\/p>\n

Jayla Jackson<\/a> paced Prosper’s offense, picking up 22 kills. Jackson got some help from Sofia Winter<\/a> and her 37 assists.<\/p>\n

Leading Plano East to victory were Dakota Huynh<\/a> and Emma Reeves<\/a>. Huynh had 19 digs and two aces, while Reeves had 11 assists and eight digs. Huynh has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she’s played.<\/p>\n

Prosper’s defeat dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Plano East, they have been performing well recently as they’ve won seven of their last nine contests. That’s provided a nice bump to their 24-10 record this season.<\/p>\n

Prosper wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Rock Hill on the 10th. As for Plano East, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against McKinney Boyd on the 10th.<\/p>\n
