Horrifying classroom video captured two Texas teachers abusing a 5-year-old student with autism, breaking the boy\u2019s foot as his outraged mother calls for the educators\u2019 arrest.<\/p>\n

Guadalupe Rodriguez\u2019s non-verbal son was inside Wild Peach Elementary School in Brazoria when he was picked up and harshly dropped on the floor, according to video obtained by KHOU.<\/a><\/p>\n

The boy landed on his feet before falling backwards on his back as he crawled away from the unidentified adult.<\/p>\n

Rodriguez was left traumatized by the video but demanded to see additional footage from Oct. 30, the day her son broke his foot.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is trauma that my son and I will carry forever,\u201d Rodriguez told the outlet.<\/a> \u201cI dropped to my knees and cried, because I didn\u2019t expect to see that. I wasn\u2019t expecting to see my son be treated in such a manner.\u201d<\/p>\n

The additional footage captured a wider range of possible abuse from multiple teachers tasked with working with the student.<\/p>\n

The same educator had picked up the boy an hour earlier and dropped him to the ground before pushing him down and walking away, video from inside a classroom captured.<\/p>\n

Another teacher was seen carrying the boy outside, trying to get him to walk on his \u201churt\u201d foot when she began to kick his ailing ankle.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy son was showing signs of distress, and not one teacher stopped to assess my son,\u201d Rodriguez said. \u201cNobody cared.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two teachers were fired after the incident, the Columbia-Brazoria ISD confirmed to KHOU, but it wasn\u2019t enough for Rodriguez.<\/p>\n

\u201cPart of me is relieved but I\u2019m not satisfied with the way they\u2019re handling this at all,\u201d the frustrated mother said. \u201cNeither of them are behind bars. They\u2019re still walking free.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two teachers were fired after the incident. KHOU 11<\/p>\n

The school district, located 60 miles south of Houston, sent an email to parents announcing the firings and that the incident was reported to several agencies including the Family Protected Services.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow that the parents of the student have met with administration, I am writing to inform you that a campus investigation involving a student injury at Wild Peach Elementary is still in progress. At current, the investigation has determined two educational support staff members acted inappropriately by not following the provided training and guidance,\u201d Principal Anne Cohea wrote in the letter sent on Nov. 7, and obtained by KHOU.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe safety and well-being of our students are of the utmost importance. This behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the standards, expectations or values of Wild Peach Elementary,\u201d Cohea added.<\/p>\n
