CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 An 18-year-old has been arrested and charged with murder in the shooting death of a 14-year-old boy outside the Figueroa Square Apartments in Robstown, according to \u00a0Robstown Police Chief Mike Tamez.<\/p>\n

Chief Tamez confirmed Elias Eric Rivera was booked into the Nueces County Jail Wednesday night on a murder charge. His bond was set at $750,000. The arrest comes two days after the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old.<\/p>\n

Robstown Police Chief Mike Tamez told 3NEWS officers were called around 3:50 p.m. Monday for a report of a male who had been shot. Sanchez was found dead at the scene. Tamez said early evidence showed the shooting \u201cwas not a random act of violence.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tamez said investigators \u00a0received Ring camera video and citizen reports that helped move the case forward. The Texas Department of Public Safety is assisting Robstown police.<\/p>\n

Tamez added that the shooting on Tuesday and another last Saturday are related, citing a possible motive for both shootings is money-related.\u00a0<\/p>\n
