LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Nearly two months after 18-year-old Lawrence Brantley was shot and killed in Lubbock, his mother says she\u2019s still searching for answers and peace.<\/p>\n
Myesha Thomas says every day without justice is another reminder of the night that changed her life.<\/p>\n
\u201cHonestly, I\u2019m still kind of in shock for one. A little bit of denial just because I still have that feeling that my child will walk through that door, he\u2019s going to call or something. i still feel like he\u2019s going to come back,\u201d Thomas said.<\/p>\n
Police have identified 23-year-old Kendrick \u201cSkrilla\u201d Taylor as the suspect in Brantley\u2019s death. He remains on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives<\/a> list and is wanted for murder. The Texas Department of Public Safety is offering a reward of up to $7,5000 for information leading to his arrest. <\/p>\n \u201cI still don\u2019t know the true story. I don\u2019t know how it begins and the only part I know that his life was taken. That\u2019s it,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
